Your Mission as a Wellsite GeologistAs a Wellsite Geologist, your primary mission is to oversee and ensure the delivery of high-quality geological services at the wellsite. You will play a pivotal role in monitoring well conditions, managing equipment and data acquisition, and providing critical, timely information to our clients. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing service delivery, implementing risk management strategies, and driving continuous improvement in our service offerings.
You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as a Wellsite Geologist- Perform services and monitor well conditions to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and reliable service delivery.
- Prepare and deliver field and final job deliverables, ensuring their accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage and secure resources, deploy and position resources effectively, and prepare and verify resources for operations.
- Capture, record, and process field data accurately, maintaining the integrity and reliability of well data.
- Compile End of Well Reports, ad hoc reports as requested by customers, and daily reports, maintaining confidentiality of well data.
- Interact professionally with personnel and customer representatives from other service companies at the wellsite.
- Identify opportunities for service delivery improvement and participate in risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
- Ensure adherence to HSE policies and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Proven experience as a wellsite geologist or in a similar role within the geological services or oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of well logging, data acquisition, and geological monitoring techniques.
- Ability to manage and analyze well data, with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with clients and service company representatives.
- Commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of HSE policies and risk management practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
- Working Days Hours: Equal Rotation (4x4)
- Location: Ubari
