The Role

We are looking for an Accounting Director who will be responsible for leading the finance team that supervises the financials of SPLA, taxes, payroll, and corporate reporting among other responsibilities. She/He will be invested in ensuring a high-performance community and product aligned to a common purpose.

Responsibilities

Operations & Leadership

Responsible for full Planning & Control cycle Inc. monthly closings, and cash flow. Responsible for the finance management of MediaMonks Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico P&L for the Data and Media businesses and related operations of the Agency. Ensure compliance with appropriate controls and IFRS. Main contact person for Internal and external audits. Execution is driven to implement and maintain strong business operations locally. Partner with business owners to aid strategic decision-making and ensure the proper operation of the business.  Manage and liaise with various stakeholders, Finance and Tax Team of the Parent company (S4) Ensure all reporting is compliant with statutory requirements and tax regulations Constantly contribute to further documenting and improving processes as well as building a future-proof finance and reporting structure Inspiring and cultivating team members, mentoring/coaching and strengthening their capabilities and knowledge set. Role in implementing new ERP/Finance systems 

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar. A Master's or MBA is a plus. Minimum 10 years of work experience in a similar role. Digital Marketing or Advertising agencies experience is a plus.  Work experience in Big 4 firms, or similar is a plus. Strong experience in finance operations management Be in charge of work teams +5 years A solid global perspective Work in collaborative and multicultural organizations. An established track record of successfully managing client businesses and proven ability to lead teams. Involvement in global products/projects/programs A strong understanding of culture, and thorough knowledge of market changes that influence the agency and its clients. Strong communicator: to be able to articulate ideas clearly and succinctly and use a structured approach Advanced English is required
