We are looking for a Senior Email Developer to implement dynamic email templates for highly visible clients. The role is heavily production focused with high output and tight deadlines while ensuring an unwavering commitment to quality. You will be working with a large multidisciplinary team that include other developers, project managers, designers, email operations managers, and QA.  This role is based in Buenos Aires.

In this role you’ll:

Provide time estimations for new projects and features that you’ll be working on. Create complex and dynamic email templates that are mobile responsive, performant, and accessible. Maintain existing scripts, codebases, and campaign architecture documentation. Support the email operations team with building custom queries, email templates, FreeMarker-based dynamic templates, automation jobs, and providing guidance on comprehensive customer journeys. Execute and manage a variety of email campaign projects with the highest quality standards, while hitting every deadline. You will gather business requirements, develop, test, report, troubleshoot, and optimize email campaigns Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that include project managers, email operations managers, QA, and creative designers.  Research and implement new frontend technologies and standards that improve our process. Ensure spam regulation compliance (CAN-SPAM)

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and responsive email template coding. Strong working knowledge of creative suites such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, etc. Ability to create pixel-perfect code of creative design. Experience using Litmus or other rendering checking systems. Experience working in teams with Project Management Software. (Jira, Monday, etc) Experience with SQL and data segmentation principles. Familiarity with scripting languages like FreeMarker and/or Handlebars.  Experience with Javascript (ideally have knowledge of these frameworks Regex, Twig, Jinja, Freemarker, Liquid, Velocity) Ensuring emails are accessible across many platforms, including web, smartphones, various apps, etc. Ability to create maintainable and reusable code, test and debug emails. Understanding of email marketing and marketing automation technology. Prior experience with email service platforms (Responsys, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Sendgrid, etc) Proficient english. This will be evaluated during the selection process.
