VHIR offers a vacancy for a Research Technician in the Genetic Medicine Group.


Education and qualifications:

Required:
  • Degree in the area of the experimental biomedicine (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Biomedicine)
  • Master’s degree in the field of biomedicine

Experience and knowledge:Required:
  • Experience in clinical genetics
  • Experience in the analysis and interpretation of high-throughput experiments of NGS data (exome, genome and RNAseq)
Main responsibilities and duties:
  • Management of NGS research project.
  • NGS data analysis filtering and selection of variants and analysis of variant pathogenicity.
  • Database construction and maintenance.
  • Interaction and participation with researchers.

Labour conditions:

  • Full-time position: 40h/week
  • Starting date: Immediate
  • Gross annual salary: 22.823,22 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
  • Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
