Main Purpose
We are looking for a carbon technical reference in Argentina to lead projects and discussions with scientists, associations, and key partners focused on unlocking the carbon potential in agriculture: predictive soil carbon models, carbon footprint methodologies and Regenerative Agriculture practices development and implementation.Your mission will be to
Coordinate carbon technical projects between all phases, with a very flexible scope, from ideation to implementation, ensuring excellence in execution, budget alignment and on-time delivery. Foster strong relationships and seamless interaction between Bayer's internal technical teams and key external stakeholders, with a pivotal role in knowledge transfer. Serve as a technical reference for associations, universities, and institutions closely collaborating with Bayer. Manage multiple workstreams across teams, maintaining alignment and accountability through defined KPIs, clear timelines and effective communications. Ensure the development of the right capabilities and an efficient, rapid test & learn process to accelerate new commercial business model opportunities.Unlock your potencial
BS degree providing background in Agronomy, with a master’s degree preferred. 4+ years of relevant experience in technical areas. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Agile mindset with the ability to propose and make ideas tangible, influence, rapidly learn, creatively problem-solve, and adapt to new challenges. Spirit of collaboration and teamwork that contributes to the objectives and the synergy between different levels of stakeholders. Master’s degree in Soil, knowledge of carbon footprint methodologies, understanding of complex relations between agronomic practices and carbon indicators are advantageous, as well as familiarity with carbon market knowledge and international standards certifications. Fluency in English and Portuguese desired. Location: Argentina. Availability to travel.-
