Human Resources Manager

Position Overview- Title: HR Manager
- Department: Human Resources
- Reports To: CEO (with operational partnership to Regional Leadership)
- Location: Remote, with occasional onsite visits as needed
- Classification: Exempt
The HR Manager will own and operate the company’s full People Infrastructure. This includes recruiting, onboarding, compliance, training, performance management, engagement, and succession planning.
This role is both strategic and operational — responsible for:- Hiring and retaining top-tier talent
- Building scalable HR systems and SOPs
- Driving performance management frameworks
- Ensuring full compliance and risk mitigation
- Strengthening culture across all properties and corporate functions
- Design and manage a structured hiring system that attracts high-performing talent
- Standardize interview frameworks and selection processes
- Ensure alignment between hiring decisions and company performance standards
- Create and maintain onboarding systems that accelerate ramp-up and engagement
- Oversee employee documentation, HRIS accuracy, and personnel files
- Manage offboarding processes and exit analysis
- Co-develop and execute structured performance management systems
- Implement goal-setting, evaluation frameworks, and accountability measures
- Partner with leadership to address underperformance and succession planning
- Maintain adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws
- Conduct internal HR audits
- Ensure policies, documentation, and processes are legally sound
- Build scalable training frameworks
- Protect and reinforce organizational culture
- Develop engagement initiatives that improve retention
- Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on people-related decisions
- Proven experience leading HR operations in a multi-site or growth-focused environment
- Strong systems thinker with experience building SOP-driven infrastructure
- Deep knowledge of employment law and compliance standards
- Experience implementing performance management systems
- High accountability, executive presence, and strong communication skills
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with operational execution
