About The Role

We're looking for Video Annotation Specialists to segment, label, and describe video content that trains the next generation of AI models — helping machines learn to see, interpret, and reason about moving images. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong visual attention and a methodical approach to work. What You'll Do
Segment videos into individual shots or scenes with precision and consistency Annotate camera angles, shot sizes, movement types, and on-screen actions Apply labels and tags to video content using predefined category systems Flag unclear shots, ambiguous transitions, or content that falls outside guidelines Maintain high speed and accuracy across high-volume annotation workflows Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule Who You Are Naturally sharp visual attention — you notice subtle differences others miss Comfortable working in web-based labeling tools or structured spreadsheets Consistent and methodical when working through repetitive, detail-oriented tasks Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without supervision An interest in video, film, or visual media is a plus — but not required No professional video production or AI experience required Nice to Have Background in film, photography, media studies, or visual arts Experience with data annotation, content tagging, or quality assurance workflows Familiarity with video editing or media analysis tools Prior exposure to AI training pipelines or annotation platforms Why Join Us Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work Contribute to AI development that shapes how technology perceives and understands visual media Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
