About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to help build and evolve a suite of products focused on eDiscovery and large-scale data analysis. This role is ideal for a senior software engineer who has experience building production-quality software in a product environment, working closely with Product Managers to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. You will help define the technical direction, make key architectural decisions, stay hands-on with development, and help build the engineering foundation and team as the products evolve. The work sits at the intersection of modern software engineering, large-scale data processing, and eDiscovery, solving complex problems around how large volumes of emails, messages, documents, and other data can be processed, analyzed, and reviewed.   What You’ll Do
Lead the technical development of new and evolving products, staying hands-on with architecture and implementation.
Partner closely with Product Management to translate product requirements into scalable, production-quality software.
Design and build data pipelines capable of ingesting, processing, and transforming large datasets, potentially ranging from gigabytes to terabytes.
Develop systems that can parse large and complex datasets, identify patterns, and generate useful insights.
Establish strong engineering foundations, including architecture, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and coding standards.
Make pragmatic technical decisions that balance speed, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
Mentor engineers and contribute to building a strong engineering culture and team.   What We’re Looking For Required
10+ years of software engineering experience, with a career primarily rooted in software development.
Strong experience working closely with Product Managers and translating product requirements into technical solutions.
Strong understanding of modern software architecture, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and scalable web applications.
Experience designing and building data pipelines and data processing systems.
Experience working with large-scale datasets, potentially ranging from gigabytes to terabytes, including ingesting, parsing, transforming, and processing complex or heterogeneous data.
Ability to identify patterns, relationships, and insights across large datasets.
Strong technical leadership and architectural decision-making skills.
Comfortable being hands-on while also providing technical direction and mentoring to other engineers.
Comfortable working in an environment with ambiguity and evolving product requirements. Nice to Have
Familiarity with eDiscovery, digital forensics, legal technology, investigations, or compliance.
A genuine interest in learning about eDiscovery and the challenges involved in processing and analyzing large volumes of legal and investigative data.
Experience with analytics, NLP, machine learning, or other techniques for extracting insights from unstructured data.   Why This Role
Build products from the ground up rather than simply maintaining a mature codebase.
Work on challenging problems involving large-scale and complex datasets.
Partner directly with Product Management and have a meaningful impact on product and technical direction.
Help shape both the engineering foundation and the team as the product suite grows.
Work at the intersection of modern software engineering, data, and a specialized domain with real-world, high-stakes use cases.   \n \n
