You will directly participate to Optimization and APC (Advanced Process Control) offering and projects, covering activities ranging from bid & proposal, initial site surveys to modeling to commissioning. The candidate will execute activities at site on potentially multiple parallel projects in the Region and drive execution / operations teams.The work model for the role is: Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries in Buenos Aires, Argentina . You will be mainly accountable for:Design of a technical solution from identification of the process model to commissioning.Take full ownership for delivering Plant Optimization solutions in the execution phase.Take full ownership for supporting Plant Optimization solutions in the operational phaseWork on projects both at customers in Argentina and abroad with close interactions with clients and colleagues from different functions/divisions within ABBWorking with the sales team to identify customer needs and, as a result, focus on meeting their needsSupport for customers with already deployed Advance Process Control solutionOur team dynamics You will join a talented and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive. Qualifications for the role You have a Master's degree in chemical engineering.You have experience in physics, thermodynamics, chemistry, automation and control.Knowledge of typical industrial processes (Oil & Gas, Refining, Petro-chem and Power generation).Experience in process control (including modelling, simulation, and control design).Good knowledge of English (spoken and written).Successful implementation and execution of advanced process control and energy & process optimization projects in Energy and Process Industries (desirable) .Well-developed communication, influencing, coaching and leadership skills.We value people from different backgrounds.
