Bankruptcy Paralegal -Remote

Shift

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).

Language Requirements

• English required C1.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare complete bankruptcy petitions (focus on Chapter 13), including schedules/statements of assets, liabilities, income, and household composition.
• Conduct means test calculations to assess eligibility.
• Collaborate with intake team and attorney to assemble accurate petitions (no routine document chasing).
• Perform quality control to ensure precision in client data and disclosures.
• Draft/update petitions using
  Jubilee
  software; manage files securely via
  Dropbox
  .
• Participate in daily huddles; maintain empathy and client-first approach.
• Coordinate original signatures and meet time-sensitive case demands.

Qualifications

• Experience:
  Minimum 3 years of U.S. bankruptcy paralegal work (Chapter 13 preferred); 5+ years ideal.
• Software:
  Proficiency in bankruptcy software; Jubilee experience is a plus.
• Language:
  Native or fluent English; Spanish strongly preferred.
• Ethics:
  Strong commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity.
