At Lacoste, we are seeking a strategic andresults-oriented Retail Manager to lead our business unit in Argentina. In thisrole, you will oversee our diverse retail ecosystem, encompassing both our conceptsstores and our value-channel outlets.
The Role
As Retail Manager, you will manage the entire retail business unit, ensuring that thebrand translates into commercial success and an exceptional customerexperience.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop andimplement short, medium, and long-term commercial strategies for our Boutiquesand Outlet channels.
Sales Performance:
Set annual andmonthly sales targets for each location. Monitor performance closely andpropose commercial initiatives to ensure goals are met.
Expansion & Optimization:
Design strategicplans for potential new locations or relocations based on commercial andfinancial needs.
Inventory & Product Management:
Performfrequent analysis of sales and stock by product line.
Executeseasonal buying and distribution according to company timelines.
Actively participate in selecting products for end-of-season sale strategy.
Marketing Collaboration:
Partner with theMarketing team to align the annual plan with the fashion calendar, collectionlaunches, and local events.
Market Intelligence:
Monitor markettrends and competitor pricing to prevent category deviations and maintain ourcompetitive edge.
Financial Oversight:
Manage the totalbudget for the retail area and specific business units.
AnalyzeP&L (Profit and Loss) statements, managing costs, expenses, and staffinglevels for each store.
Pivotand implement alternative action plans when necessary to hit KPIs.
Requirements & Profile
Experienced:
Proventrack record in Retail Management, preferably within the premium fashion orsports industry.
Analytical &Financial Savvy:
Strong ability to interpret data, manage budgets, and optimizeP&L.
Strategic Thinker:
You don't just manage the day-to-day; you look ahead to anticipate marketshifts.
Collaborative:
Youexcel at working across departments (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain).
Brand Ambassador:
You appreciate the nuances of a French brand and can uphold ourhigh standards of excellence.
Bachelor'sdegree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field. A Master'sdegree is a plus.
Minimum7 years of experience in the role, preferably in Retail/Fashion.
Experiencein a multinational environment and managing multi-country operations is highlyvalued.
Strongunderstanding of the South American market.
Excellentproject management and communication skills. Analytical mindset with acreative approach to problem-solving.
Fluentin English and Spanish.
