About the company

At Atlas, we're building the AI payments solution for global teams. We aim to simplify how finance and people operations teams manage everything beyond payroll for their team members. That includes: reimbursements, bonuses, travel expenses, software purchases, healthcare plans and a lot more. Our goal is to provide global employees with an exceptional experience working remotely or from an office.

From a technical perspective, this means integrating with distributed systems worldwide (both old and new, with and without APIs), managing globally distributed operations and users, and prioritizing the scalability of our systems. To move fast and build an incredible product, we're looking for engineers who value technical excellence, make user-centric decisions, and enjoy working in a highly autonomous environment.

What We Need

We're looking for a Technical Project Manager with 5-7 years of experience who is detail-oriented and organized, with strong soft skills. Experience in fintech is a plus. You should be adept at balancing technical insights with customer and user-centric perspectives.

We're seeking someone who not only brings strong technical expertise but also keeps the end-user in mind and takes pride in creating a product that impacts many people. Startup experience is a big plus, especially if you've been part of a team navigating rapid growth. We're after curious, technically-driven individuals who are eager to propose improvements and take full ownership of our systems.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing to deliver beautiful and functional products.

  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company goals.

  • Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements.

  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.

  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.

  • Review PRs and ensure alignment with product vision and company goals.

  • Use AI to move from requirements to prototype faster.

  • You're not technical.

  • You care more about team processes than what customers actually experience.

  • You've never worked on a product team.

  • You rarely talked to customers in your past jobs.

  • Your past work was mostly taking a roadmap someone else made and just executing it, rather than creating the roadmap yourself.

  • You don't use AI tools much and aren't excited about AI.
