Visa's Global People Advisors team is focused on balancing our capability, capacity & delivery of Visa's people agenda through people related services & solutions for our clients. This is a key function that supports Visa's People Team transformation and will continue to evolve and expand as the team grows and solidifies.  The Manager is a People/HR generalist with a client-centric mindset to provide consultative, advisory services to support People Leaders and internal clients in LAC primarily in South Cone, and who leads with empathy in responding to workplace matters and interactions. It also plays a key role on driving consistency to enable efficiency and improve employee experience and enhance our strategic impact as a People Team.

 Essential Functions:

• Provide People expertise to support internal clients in all aspects but not limited to employee relations, performance management, talent management/organizational development, rewards and recognition, growth and development and workforce planning with the support of the SMEs.
• Establish a strong partnership with regional People SME´s, serving as a consultant in strategic and tactical approaches for all People Team areas to our internal clients.
• Guarantee all HR procedures, policies and guidance to clients are in accordance with applicable legislation/ employment law and local Unions.
• Accountable for areas which include but are not limited to coaching and guiding people leaders on individual talent development, annual compensation review, performance management, employee engagement, annual talent management review, bi-annual promotion cycle, conflict resolution, and other policy interpretation and consultation.  
• Lead efforts with People Leaders to facilitate effective management of teams and resolve issues that may arise in the workplace between employees and managers. 
• Provide detailed analytics and interpretation of data to drive informed business decisions in the areas of accountability, ensure operational excellence in reporting and data management.
• Reporting to the People Advisor leader in LAC with matrixed relationship to the People Business Partner for the South Cone Market.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Manager: 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA).

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference for candidates with Manager 7 years of experience in a related field, particularly as an HR generalist managing medium to complex people-related challenges within a global, multinational, matrixed company context.

English language proficiency required and Spanish a plus.

Juggle priorities and have an eye for detail to ensure delivery is always on time and accurately delivering objectives.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Strong analytical and consulting skills with the emotional intelligence to value all perspectives and make informed decisions.

Strong interpersonal skills, team player, true collaborator and ability to solve problems quickly and competently.

Strong ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Flexible and creative thinker

Proven ability to drive continuous improvement activities to exceed customer expectations and promote a professional organization.
