About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team working on scalable, cloud-based systems. This role is ideal for someone with strong backend fundamentals, solid AWS experience, and a proactive mindset who enjoys contributing ideas and best practices.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, contributing to system architecture, performance optimization, and the continuous improvement of backend services.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
Architect and manage cloud-based solutions using AWS.
Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with product, frontend, and other engineering teams.
Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders in English.
Proactively share ideas, improvements, and best practices with the team.
Requirements
Backend Development: Strong experience with Go (preferred) or , with a focus on performance and scalability.
AWS Architecture: Solid hands-on experience designing and managing AWS-based systems.
Infrastructure: Experience working with high-scale infrastructure is a strong plus.
Communication: Excellent English skills and experience working directly with clients or stakeholders.
Problem Solving: Strong technical background and analytical skills.
Soft Skills: Proactive, collaborative, and open to sharing knowledge and ideas.
Nice to Have
Healthcare Standards: Experience or familiarity with TEFCA integrations and FHIR data standards.
AI / LLMs: Experience or interest in implementing AI or LLM-based tools to optimize workflows or processes.
Previous experience in regulated or data-intensive environments.
