Data Reporting Analyst

Description
Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Conduct analysis of data sets to derive meaningful insights, table joints.
• Reporting: Develop, maintain, and enhance reports to support business decisions for both internal and external clients.
• Dashboard Creation: Design and improve dashboards for visualizing key performance metrics.
• Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data in reporting in adherence with reporting guidelines.
• Stakeholder Requests: Process data requests efficiently, pulling and preparing data from various sources in accordance with SLA's for response timing.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support data needs, streamline reporting processes, cross train, and problem-solve.
• Technical Proficiency: Utilize tools such as Excel, SQL, and business intelligence platforms like Looker and Power BI.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve data processes and implement solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field: Information Technology, Information Security, Business, Economics, etc.

• Proficiency in Excel:

• Macros

• Pivot Tables

• Xlookups

• Intermediate understanding of business intelligence platforms (e.g., Looker, Power BI)

• Experience with SQL, VBA, Python, Power Query, and database querying is a plus
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with limited instruction
• Strong communication and service-focused
• Enthusiasm for learning and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
