Ssr Data Scientist

Driven by our enthusiasm for meeting new talents and fostering connections within the community and as part of our profile mapping program, we are now exploring diverse roles, including Ssr Data Scientist. It's important to note that, in this instance, the role does not involve immediate hiring but rather serves as a part of a pipeline for future recruitments.

The Ssr Data Scientist will be part of the design, training, and execution of machine learning models, working independently with little support from more experienced members of the team.

They also participate in curating datasets, cleaning and preparing data, measuring models' performance, as well as participating in all the different parts of the ML Pipeline, from data collection, to deployment. 

The main objective of this role is to develop well-designed AI solutions that could be used for recommended systems, classifiers, computer vision applications, virtual assistants, translation apps, chatbots, etc, while also sharing their knowledge with less experienced members and the internal AI community.

What are the main responsibilities of this role?

• Identify potential AI opportunities in existing processes and clients to solve business problems.
• Train, Test, and Validate data Models.
• Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA).
• Detect biases, and deal with under-fitting/overfitting situations.
• Deploy models to production Optimize models for better latency and throughput
• A/B testing of candidate models.
• Monitoring model performance, maintenance, debugging.
• Research tools and libraries for developing Data models.
• Generate content related to the area and give talks.
• Mentor other members of the area.

Which skills and experience do we envision for this role?

• +2 year of experience working in software development with Machine Learning.
• Intermediate technical background, including different languages, platforms, and tools for maintaining data intensive projects.
• Experience with Python, Tensorflow, Pytorch, LangChain and use of LLMs tools
• Experience with AI development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude
• Communication skills.
• Advanced English skills, both written and spoken.
• Background with agile methodologies.
