Our client is seeking a Release & Quality Engineer to take ownership of the release process end-to-end and serve as the final quality gate before every production launch.

This is a hands-on role at the intersection of engineering, product, and quality, offering real ownership over how and when releases occur across web and mobile platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Own and coordinate releases across Web, Android, and iOS.

  • Manage the full release lifecycle, from build validation to production rollout.

  • Validate builds, versions, artifacts, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Perform manual and automated testing, with a strong focus on critical user journeys.

  • Ensure cross-platform quality and consistency before each release.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to identify risks early and unblock launches.

  • Act as the final quality checkpoint before anything reaches production.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in release management and quality engineering (manual + automation).

  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.

  • Strong ownership mindset and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Comfortable being the last line of defense before production.

  • Clear communicator who thrives in fast-moving startup environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with early-stage or fast-growing startups.

  • Background in consumer-facing web and mobile products.
