Job Overview

We are looking for a physicochemical and microbiology analyst in Buenos Aires Argentina for a project for one of our clients as a FREELANCER.

Main Responsabilities:

Microbiology:

Microbiological analysis of raw materials, finished products, purified water, Water for Injection (WFI), surfaces, and air (environmental monitoring).

Detection of pathogenic microorganisms and total aerobic mesophilic count, including molds and yeasts.

Antimicrobial preservative effectiveness testing.

Preparation and validation of culture media.

Handling of reference microbial strains.

Cleaning, sterilization, and monitoring of microbiological equipment and facilities.

Documentation of results, deviation control,
and participation in microbiological investigations.

Compliance with GMP, GLP, and internal procedures
.

Physicochemical:

Analysis of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products following official pharmacopeias (USP, EP, JP, etc.) or validated internal methods.

Titrations, liquid chromatography (HPLC), gas chromatography (GC), UV/Vis spectrophotometry, IR, pH, conductivity, melting point, loss on drying, etc.

Preparation and standardization of volumetric solutions and reagents.

Review and completion of analytical documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Verification of out-of-specification (OOS), out-of-trend (OOT) results, or deviations.

Maintenance and calibration of analytical equipment.

Participation in analytical method validations and stability studies.

Compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
