Job Responsibilities

• Leads and directs the Engineering team in the delivery of assigned technology services
• Ensures all services are managed and delivered to meet agreed standards and requirements
• Develops partnerships with business staff and other solutions providers across the company so that projects and services are delivered in alignment to requirements
• Maintains good interactions with external service provider partners in delivery of solutions and services
• Ensures that in-scope solutions and services are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance
• Ensures all assigned projects are managed to meet the identified business requirements and within budget, timeline, and quality standards
• Maintains knowledge of technologies and current/future industry trends associated with scope of responsibilities
• Oversees staff management, recruitment, training, and professional development
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree or MBA or related master's degree (preferred).
• Extensive experience in technology development and management, with a strong track record of delivery
• Experience with Azure, Power Tools, AWS, and Agile methodologies
• Knowledgeable in AI/ LLM, ML, MCP
• Experienced in digital transformation
• Strong understanding of SLDC
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong background and knowledge of various technology systems and services
• Extensive experience in technology management and leadership roles
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to influence and drive organizational change

Summary

The Director of Engineering is responsible for overall leadership and direction of the in-scope technologies managed within the department. This role advises management and supervises staff responsible for the implementation, configuration, and operations of agreed infrastructure and applications. This leader interacts with customers, external vendors, and other internal suppliers in the delivery of their technology services. In addition, they have responsibility for projects, service management, and future planning for services within their scope. The Director leads a team of service managers and technicians in support of their assigned services.
