We are looking for a Quality Engineer from Buenos Aires or Córdoba to join our team. 
Our client works in the banking sector.

This is the team
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical QA Engineer to join our technology team. Your mission will be to ensure that our products work flawlessly, guaranteeing data integrity, security, and a seamless user experience. You will work in an agile environment, collaborating closely with developers and product owners to mitigate risks before each deployment.


This is you

  • 3-4 years in QA roles (preferably in banking, fintech, or high-volume e-commerce).

  • Management Tools: Proficiency in Jira and Xray/Zephyr.

  • API Testing: Solid experience testing microservices with Postman or Insomnia.

  • Databases: Intermediate knowledge of SQL (queries, joins, table validation).

  • Automation: intermediate experience with automation frameworks (Java, Python, or JavaScript).

  • Methodologies: Experience working under Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Ability to think about edge cases and error scenarios that others might overlook.

  • Ability to explain complex technical issues in simple terms.

  • Genuine commitment to excellence in the final product.

This is your role

  • Planning and Strategy: Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.

  • Test Execution: Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke tests.

  • Automation: Identify automation opportunities and develop scripts (usually in Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright) to optimize the testing lifecycle.

  • Reporting: Document, track, and report bugs in tools such as Jira, ensuring that the development team has all the information necessary for resolution.

  • Data Validation: Perform database tests to ensure the consistency and accuracy of financial information.

  • Focus on Security: Collaborate in the early detection of logical vulnerabilities in transactional flows.
