About Your Role
We are looking for a hands-on Business Development Manager to expand our B2B team in
Germany
. This role is specifically designed for a channel-growth expert who understands how to navigate the German B2B Reseller landscape to reach Enterprise and Government clients. You will join a passionate team working to prove that fair business is good business.

Here's the Challenge
As our Business Development Manager for Germany, you will be at the forefront of shifting the mobile industry from a "disposable" model to a "durable" one. Your mission is to prove to German enterprises that sustainability is not just a moral choice, but a superior financial strategy.

From day one, you will lead the expansion of our B2B reseller network, positioning Fairphone as the premier solution for companies looking to lower their Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) through device longevity and repairability. You will act as a strategic consultant to our partners, helping them show their clients how Fairphone directly contributes to achieving ESG targets and complying with the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LKSG). You aren't just selling a phone; you are delivering a long-term ROI and a future-proof mobile estate.

Your Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities & Objectives

  • Reseller Management: Prospect, onboard, and manage a network of B2B resellers, VARs (Value Added Resellers), and IT service providers across Germany.
  • Channel Enablement: Conduct training and workshops for reseller sales teams to ensure they can effectively pitch Fairphone's unique sustainability and repairability story.
  • Sales Lifecycle: Manage the full sales cycle from initial lead generation through the channel to deal closure.
  • Forecasting & Funnel: Maintain a clean, accurate sales funnel and provide reliable forecasting for the German B2B market.
  • Market Strategy: Develop and execute a Go-To-Market (GTM) plan that aligns with Fairphone's mission and local market nuances (e.g., ESG requirements and the Lieferkettengesetz).
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Fairphone at key industry events, trade shows, and partner conferences in the DACH region.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless delivery and tailored support for your partners.

Your Profile

  • B2B Channel Expert: You have a deep understanding of how the German reseller ecosystem works.
  • Storyteller: You possess the rare ability to translate complex ethical and environmental values into a compelling commercial business case.
  • Self-Starter: You thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment and take full ownership of your territory.
  • Linguistic Precision: Native-level proficiency in German and excellent professional English are mandatory.

Your Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Business Development or Account Management within the German mobile phone or ICT industry.
  • Mandatory: Proven track record of managing and growing B2B Reseller partnerships.
  • Preferred: A strong existing network within the German Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) sales teams
  • Strategic Planning: Experience building successful partnerships from scratch and developing long-term account plans.
  • Technical Literacy: Familiarity with CRM tools and Google Workspace; ability to build business cases in Google Sheets.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Experience working cross-functionally in a multicultural team.
