The role of ERP Systems Programmer is crucial as his role ensures the system runs smoothly, integrates well with other applications, and aligns with business processes, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and supporting strategic decision-making. A ERP Systems Programmer is responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining the NetSuite ERP system to meet the specific needs of a company. They perform tasks such as scripting, creating Suitelets, Portlets, Workflows, and generating Saved Searches, Workbooks, and Reports.

Reports To: Director of ERP and Cloud Integration

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Programming and administrative duties associated with Netsuite our ERP / Business System

· Netsuite Customizations using scripting, Suitelets, Portlets, Workflows

· Creating Netsuite Saved Searches, Workbooks & Reports

· Netsuite Administration

· Updating Project Management System

· Updating Version Control (GitHub)

· Attending and participating in meetings

· Develop an understanding of our business and business processes

· Follow instructions and guidance provided by peers and manager

· Troubleshooting Issues

· Work diplomatically with other members of the UnifiedCommunications team, maintaining a high degree of respect among your coworkers

· Help in other areas of the company as needed

· Be available outside normal working hours when needed

· Other activities and duties as determined by manager and the needs of the company

Qualifications and Desired Skills:

A NetSuite Programmer requires a diverse set of skills to effectively develop, customize, and maintain the NetSuite ERP system. Here are the key skill requirements:

· Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in SuiteScript (both 1.0 and 2.0 versions) for scripting and automation.

o Experience with SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and SuiteAnalytics for customizations and integrations.

o Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for developing custom solutions.

o Familiarity with NetSuite Saved Searches, Workbooks, and Reports creation.

· Administrative Skills:

o Experience in NetSuite Administration tasks such as customizing user setups, managing roles, and designing custom dashboards.

o Ability to integrate NetSuite with third-party applications and systems, ensuring seamless data flow and real-time synchronization.

· Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

o Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes.

o Ability to quickly learn and ramp up on business processes.

· Communication and Collaboration:

o Strong writing and communication skills to produce high-quality documentation and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

o Ability to work diplomatically with other team members and maintain a high degree of respect among coworkers.

· Additional Skills:

o Familiarity with version control best practices, such as using GitHub.

o Experience with project management systems and attending relevant meetings.
