About the role
As the Intake Advocate at Tort Experts, you are the first point of contact for potential claimants who are seeking legal assistance with injury claims. You will guide potential claimants through a screening process to determine eligibility. If eligible, you will assist potential claimants in the completion of initial forms and applications to retain an attorney.
What you'll do
- Build the initial claimant relationship and confidence in our firm with every prospective claimant interaction
- Engage in 150 – 200 calls per day in a professional inbound/outbound call center environment
- Consistently build the claimant relationship and confidence in our partners firms with every claimant interaction while proactively contacting claimants to ensure the relationship is maintained
- Solve problems and maintain confidentiality
- Keep updated records and detailed documentation of claimant interactions, concerns, and complaints in a paperless database system
- Use good judgment to discern what issues may be urgent and need a manager's or director's attention immediately
- Be expected to meet occupancy and adherence goals
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Business Administration) preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Personal Attributes:
- Empathetic and patient demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work remotely, and manage time and tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to providing excellent client service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mass tort law is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
