Role Overview

We're looking for a
Human Resources Generalist
based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to help build and strengthen the operational foundation of People at EVOCS.

In this role, you'll bring structure, consistency, and ownership to core HR processes, directly impacting role clarity, people operations, and how supported managers and employees feel throughout the employee lifecycle. Your work will help EVOCS scale in a more organized, transparent, and people-first way.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership and visibility, ideal for someone who enjoys execution, collaboration with managers, and building processes that make a tangible difference in a growing, consulting-driven organization.

What you will do

This role is highly execution-focused and will work closely with the People & Culture Director, with increasing ownership and autonomy over time.

People Operations & Compliance

  • Create, update, and maintain
    job descriptions
    for all EVOCS roles.
  • Ensure all employees and contractors have
    updated documentation
    (offers, contracts, role descriptions).
  • Own onboarding and offboarding processes end-to-end.
  • Maintain employee data and documentation in HR systems (Deel, ClickUp).

Role Architecture & Career Foundations

  • Define
    required skills per role
    in partnership with managers.
  • Build the foundations for
    career paths and role clarity
    across the company.
  • Support improvements to hiring quality through clearer role definitions.

Performance & Manager Enablement

  • Run the
    performance review cycle
    and ensure full completion across teams.
  • Lead
    30/60/90-day check-ins
    with managers, ensuring consistency and follow-through.
  • Partner with managers to identify performance gaps and development needs.

Training & Development Support

  • Partner with managers to
    identify training priorities
    .
  • Coordinate and track training initiatives designed by the People & Culture Director.

Employee Experience & Day-to-Day HR

  • Support employee inquiries related to policies, PTO, and people processes.
  • Help ensure a consistent experience for a distributed, consulting-first workforce.

What you will bring

The top candidate will have the following skills:

  • 3–6 years of experience in
    HR operations or generalist roles
    , ideally in tech, professional services, or consulting environments.
  • Solid understanding of
    core HR processes
    across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, performance, documentation, offboarding).
  • Experience supporting or collaborating on
    US-based HR processes
    (working with global teams, external partners, or PEOs).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple processes in parallel.
  • Advanced English skills
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with managers and distributed teams.

Ideally you have...

  • Experience working with
    HR systems and tools
    (HRIS, ATS, documentation platforms). Experience with Deel, Rippling, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with
    basic employment compliance concepts
    in the US and/or other regions (not as a subject-matter expert).
  • Exposure to
    role design, skills frameworks, or career path initiatives
    .
  • Experience partnering with managers on
    performance processes, check-ins, and development conversations
    .
  • Experience in fast-growing or consulting-driven organizations.
