Audit Supervisor

Chevron Corporate Audit, co-located with Global Business Services – Finance in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, currently has an opening for a Team Lead. The chosen individual will report to the Senior Manager of Joint Venture and Vendor Audits and will oversee a team of about five audit professionals to fulfill Corporate Audit's Vision, prioritize tasks to efficiently staff a flexible audit schedule, and foster auditor skill development.

Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Supports the Joint Ventures audit program, with a primary emphasis on leading audits of Chevron-operated joint ventures and safeguarding Chevron's interests during the claims resolution process to prevent value loss.
• Oversees staff performance and professional growth, which includes involvement in the Corporate Audit Personnel Development Subcommittee.
• Collaborates with the Joint Interest team in Houston to set up an annual, balanced audit hosting calendar and to identify ways to enhance and streamline audit hosting.
• Partners with essential stakeholders, such as operations, commercial, land, legal, and TPE teams, to proactively create approaches for defending Chevron against claims from non-operator auditors.
• Works closely with Chevron NOJV auditors in Corporate Audit to develop unified stances concerning claims.
• Mentors staff across all audit service areas, which include assurance, cost recovery, advisory, and investigative support.
• Finds and implements opportunities to enhance the audit program, particularly through automation and digital analytics.
