At Modelit, we are looking for a Salesforce Data Cloud Administrator to join our team.

This is a technical, hands-on role focused on the end-to-end implementation of Salesforce Data 360. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical configurations, connecting and harmonizing data across multiple sources, and ensuring that unified data is accurately prepared for automation, AI grounding, and downstream activation.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage Data 360 connections, Data Streams, Data Lake Objects (DLOs), and Data Model Objects (DMOs).

  • Map DLOs to DMOs accurately while adhering to platform best practices.

  • Recommend and implement ingestion patterns, selecting between Streaming vs. Bulk based on specific use-case requirements.

  • Evaluate and execute data residency strategies, deciding between Data Ingestion (Copy) and Zero-Copy / Federated Data architectures.

  • Develop and maintain data transformations.

  • Design and fine-tune Identity Resolution rules to create accurate unified profiles.

  • Design and build Calculated Insights to generate high-value metrics and behavioral data.

  • Implement data activation workflows to external systems, the Salesforce platform, or Agentforce agents.

  • Monitor platform health, specifically tracking Credit Consumption and data refresh success rates to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Analyze data quality across various sources to identify anomalies and maintain the integrity of unified profiles.

  • Enforce security and governance through the configuration of Data Spaces, sharing rules, and privacy settings.

  • Produce technical documentation, including data lineage, mapping dictionaries, and integration schemas.

Requirements

  • Solid Salesforce platform knowledge, specifically in Data Management, Security models, and Large Data Volumes (LDV).

  • Proven hands-on experience in Data 360 (Data Cloud) implementation OR equivalent deep theoretical knowledge and the ability to demonstrate it in a technical interview.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and practical experience with ETL/ELT processes.

  • Knowledge of modern data stacks, specifically Snowflake or Databricks, and the ability to work with both structured and unstructured data.

  • Understanding of Data Governance principles and data lifecycle management.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical implementations to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written).

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant.

Nice to Have

Having one, or more, certifications below is a plus.

  • Salesforce Architect track (Application or System) is highly preferred.

  • Agentforce or AI-related certifications are a significant plus.
