Job Purpose
Your primary responsibility will be to extend and finalize SelectFI's new frontend platform, ensuring it reaches full parity with the existing WordPress version. You will test and validate the partially built React + interface in staging and lead its successful rollout to production, delivering a fast, scalable, and intuitive experience for high-end automotive dealerships.

This role requires strong React fundamentals, experience with scalable frontend architectures, and close collaboration with product and backend teams to ensure a smooth transition from the legacy system to the new platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the frontend architecture for the company's core product, migrating from WordPress to a scalable React + platform.
  • Develop high-quality user interfaces using ReactJS, NextJS, TypeScript, Zustand, MUI, and Styled Components.
  • Develop user interfaces for web applications using
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Implement responsive designs and ensure compatibility across various devices and browsers.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain and improve application performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with modern frontend technologies and best practices.
  • Work within an Agile Scrum team and proactively contribute to team processes.
  • Be proactive in documenting your own implementations and technical decisions.
  • Engage in the design process by proposing technologies and solutions for the product.
  • Support less experienced developers in the process, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of industry experience as a ReactJS / Web Developer, building production-level applications.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with , including server-side rendering and modern frontend architecture.
  • Experience with state management tools such as Zustand, Redux, or Context API.
  • Strong experience with RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and integrating external services.
  • Knowledge of unit and integration testing using Jest and React Testing Library.
  • Experience designing scalable, modular UI components and interfaces that support flexible design systems.
  • Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows.
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and user-centered development.
  • Knowledge of algorithms, design patterns, and modularization best practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an ownership mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Advanced English (verbal and written).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with MUI, Styled Components, or similar UI component libraries.
  • Experience with WordPress-to-React migrations or CMS integrations.
  • Familiarity with authentication flows such as Auth0 and JWT.
  • Experience in fintech, lending, or automotive retail environments.
