Role Overview

We are seeking a Product Manager with strong experience in AI-powered and machine learning products to lead the discovery, design, and delivery of intelligent digital products.

This role blends technical product management, human-centered UX, and rapid prototyping. You will lead independent AI-first products and support client product engagements, translating complex business problems into scalable, usable, and responsible AI solutions.

This is a hands-on, modern product role for someone comfortable operating across strategy, experimentation, and delivery in fast-moving environments.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Ownership

• Own product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for AI-enabled products
• Lead the full product lifecycle: discovery → prototyping → delivery → iteration
• Translate business objectives into clear product requirements and success metrics
• Balance rapid experimentation with long-term product and platform quality
• Maintain clear product documentation (PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria)

AI & Technical Product Management

• Define AI system requirements in collaboration with engineering and data teams
• Work with machine learning models, inference pipelines, embeddings, and AI agents
• Understand tradeoffs between model performance, latency, cost, and user experience
• Partner on system architectures involving compute-intensive workloads and model hosting
• Evaluate build vs buy decisions for AI capabilities and third-party integrations
• Ensure responsible AI practices, including data privacy, security, and compliance

Rapid Prototyping & Experimentation

• Use rapid prototyping techniques to validate ideas early
• Build low- to mid-fidelity functional prototypes to test flows, logic, and AI behavior
• Leverage AI-assisted development, no-code / low-code tools, and prompt-driven workflows
• Apply "vibe coding" approaches to move quickly from concept to proof-of-value
• Collaborate with engineering teams to transition prototypes into production systems
• Use prototypes to align stakeholders and reduce technical and UX risk

UX & Human-Centered Design

• Lead user discovery, research, and validation activities
• Translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive, transparent user experiences
• Partner closely with designers on interaction models, workflows, and feedback loops
• Define UX patterns that support AI explainability, confidence, and human oversight
• Ensure products solve real user problems and support trust and adoption

Client Product Support

• Support client product engagements as a senior product partner
• Lead discovery sessions and product definition workshops
• Translate client needs into actionable product strategies and roadmaps
• Advise on AI feasibility, risks, and implementation tradeoffs
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Delivery & Collaboration

• Work closely with engineering, design, and data teams
• Prioritize backlogs and support sprint planning
• Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and usability
• Use data, experimentation, and user feedback to inform iteration

What You Will Not Own

• Hands-on model training as an ML engineer
• Infrastructure operations or DevOps ownership
• Sales or account management

(You will understand these areas well enough to make informed product decisions.)

Required Experience & Knowledge

Product Management

• 6+ years of experience in Product Management
• Proven experience shipping AI-powered or ML-driven products
• Experience owning products end-to-end in complex or ambiguous environments

AI & Machine Learning Literacy

• Strong understanding of core AI/ML concepts:
• Model inference
• Embeddings and retrieval
• AI agents and tool-calling
• Evaluation and feedback loops
• Experience reasoning about model behavior, limitations, and risks
• Ability to assess AI feasibility and product impact without being an ML engineer

Technical & Systems Thinking

• Familiarity with AI deployment environments and compute considerations
• Experience working with APIs, data pipelines, and workflow orchestration
• Ability to evaluate tradeoffs between performance, cost, scalability, and UX
• Comfort collaborating deeply with engineering teams

Prototyping & Experimentation

• Experience with rapid prototyping and AI-assisted development workflows
• Comfort using code, no-code, or hybrid tools to build functional prototypes
• Ability to move quickly from idea to validation
• Strong judgment on when to prototype and when to formalize requirements

UX & Communication

• Strong UX sensibility and experience working closely with designers
• Ability to translate technical systems into clear user experiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and clients
