Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Microsoft Power BI and Fabric Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. Our client is a global company specializing in intelligent automation solutions, providing integrated systems for warehouse logistics, material handling, and supply chain optimization. The solutions range from automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) and conveyor systems to automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and advanced robotics, software, and artificial intelligence-driven warehouse management systems. These systems optimize the movement, storage, and handling of goods, helping companies increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.

You'll be responsible for cross-functional teams, transforming data into actionable insights through interactive dashboards and data models. It involves designing, developing, and maintaining data analytics and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. This role focuses on collaborating with cross-functional teams by transforming data into actionable insights through interactive dashboards, data models, and data-driven strategies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of experience in Power BI development.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Strong understanding of DAX, Power Query (M), semantic modeling, and dimensional modeling (e.g., Kimball) and Tabular models.
• Knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, leveraging semantic models and DAX.
• Design and implement end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory (Dataflows and pipelines), Synapse Analytics (Warehouses, Lakehouses, Notebooks, Real-time Analytics, etc.) and OneLake.
• Collaborate with data analysts, business users, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize performance of Power BI datasets and reports.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance across reporting solutions.
• Stay current with new features and best practices in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
