Seeking to hire a Contractor based out of Argentina or Mexico for Frontend Software Engineering Services.
Scope of Services:
- Serve as the technical contact for Front End concerns within your team and for your space (the code area owned by the team)
- Work with the team's leadership helping balance technical concerns with long-term strategy, front-end requirements, and cross-functional needs.
- Involved in the earliest stages of each project working with team leadership to help with technical scoping and technical discovery.
- Responsible for the quality of Front End PR's on your team: thorough checks, title and summaries, and technical review - helping cultivate a robust technical review culture within the team.
- Work with team leadership to critically and technically review all PRs and broaden round-robin reviews to empower review growth across the team.
- Work with team managers to ensure technical tickets are scoped appropriately and well communicated and match the technical designs agreed upon
Skills & Experience:
- You have 5+ years of experience with frontend software development experience.
- You have demonstrated success in building complex web applications with simple, elegant, and maintainable solutions.
- You are able to leverage your experience in Javascript, Typescript, semantic HTML, responsive CSS, and either React or to find the right solution to meet your team's goals. Experience with Node JS and Express is a plus.
- You have experience with modern web standards, responsive design, and web accessibility requirements (WCAG 2.0+).
- You not only provide the technical expertise in the design and implementation of the solution, but collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure potential risks and challenges are identified and resolved throughout the development process.
- While not required, experience with web accessibility guidelines, , or AWS is a plus.
Please note that given the nature of the contract, this role will not be eligible to participate in company-sponsored benefits.
