Cloud Engineer – Support Level 2 & Level 3OverviewWe are seeking highly skilled Cloud Engineers to provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for cloudenvironments. These professionals will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing cloudinfrastructures, ensuring high availability and performance. The roles require deep expertise in AWS andGoogle Cloud environments, strong automation capabilities, and a proactive mindset to drive continuousimprovement.Support Level 2 (6–8 years of relevant experience)Responsibilities• Solve incidents through configuration activities and defined operational tasks.• Conduct proactive maintenance activities as part of daily business operations.• Support change management processes and contribute to continuous improvement plans.• Act as an escalation point for Level 1 issues and collaborate with Level 3 engineers.• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring or high-impact incidents.• Contribute to documentation and Knowledge Management initiatives.Required Skills & Experience• Public Cloud Platforms: AWS (Amazon Web Services), Google Cloud Platform• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation• CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, GitLab CD)• Solid Operating System skills (Windows & Linux)• Containers and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)• Cloud Networking and Cloud Security• Configuration Management (any)• DevSecOps specialization and understanding of secure development practicesSupport Level 3 (>8 years of relevant experience)Responsibilities• Conduct deep Root Cause Analysis and provide expert-level resolution for complex incidents andproblems.• Own and resolve Priority 1 or major incidents with minimal supervision.• Align with OEMs or third-party vendors when advanced or vendor-specific support is required.• Implement and support change management activities across environments.• Provide reactive and proactive automation for service improvement and operational efficiency.• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure comprehensive Knowledge Management.• Design and implement Cloud DRP (Disaster Recovery Plans) and security controls.Required Skills & Experience• Extensive knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud Platform• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation• CI/CD: CodePipeline, GitLab CD• Strong OS expertise (Windows, Linux), including Windows AD and VDI (Citrix/Workspaces)• Containers (EKS, Fargate) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Neptune, DocumentDB)• Cloud Networking and Security• Configuration Management (AWS SSM or Ansible)• DevSecOps specialist with focus on automation and security integration• AWS Serverless architectures and Cloud Security Controls implementation• VPC and networking architecture design in AWS• Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, Go, Ansible)• 100% autonomous expert with end-to-end ownership of cloud environments
