About DevRev Labs

DevRev Labs is the technical Center of Excellence (CoE) focused on accelerating revenue by building and maintaining opinionated, reusable solutions and advanced AI agents for strategic opportunities. The Labs team owns the creation and evolution of repeatable intellectual property, including vertical solution blueprints, AI agent patterns, reference architectures, and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) accelerator kits. By partnering with Presales and Product/Engineering, the Labs ensure that solutions are aligned with both field needs and the core product roadmap, with a guiding target of dedicating 70% of its time to building and maintaining these reusable solutions and agents.

As a Software Engineer in DevRev Labs, you would be one of the core builders who translates designs and patterns into working software and reusable assets. Your high-level responsibilities would include implementing AI agents, workflows, integrations, and solution components defined by Solutions Architects. A key focus is building and maintaining PoC kits, demo environments, and reusable components that empower the Presales team to run most PoCs efficiently without deep engineering support. This role is crucial for hardening early, successful solutions into stable, repeatable assets that are used widely across the company, contributing directly to the central solution library and influencing the broader product capabilities.

Role Overview:

This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who loves to code, build, and deliver real-world solutions 

As a Software Engineer at DevRev Labs, you'll work closely with Architects to bring customer AI agents to life on the DevRev platform. This role is deeply hands-on, focused on coding, integration, and technical implementation within DevRev's API-first, AI-powered ecosystem.

As part of DevRev Labs, you'll be responsible for translating solution designs into production-grade implementations, ensuring customers realize the full value of DevRev's platform. You will also be responsible for documenting internal business and technical use cases to help customers across the globe. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on Development: Deep technical high code expertise using DevRev's agentic framework, APIs, SDKs or any other libraries, delivering clean, efficient, and reusable code.
  • Solution Implementation: Collaborate with Solution Architects to translate architecture and design documents into functional workflows, integrations, and automations.
  • Proof of Concept (PoC) Delivery: Assist in building, testing, and iterating PoCs that validate customer requirements and demonstrate platform value.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Presales) to resolve technical challenges and align customer needs with platform capabilities.
  • Continuous Learning: Deepen your knowledge of DevRev's ecosystem, AI/ML features, and third-party integrations to grow into a senior engineer role.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to internal solution hubs and technical documentation to capture reusable patterns and repeatable best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1-3 years in Software Engineering, ideally within B2B SaaS.
  • Strong technical acumen across APIs, Webhooks, Databases, DevOps, cloud platforms, and modern SaaS stacks.
  • Excellent communication skills with clear articulation
  • Curious problem-solver with strong analytical and debugging skills.
  • Comfortable working in customer-facing technical roles and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Eager to learn and grow into advanced solution design and architecture responsibilities.

  • Hands-on experience building with APIs, SDKs ensuring solutions are extensible and reusable.
  • Ability to implement custom workflows, automations, and data models within any AI ecosystem.
  • Comfortable debugging as well as integrating with third-party applications.
  • Basic understanding of system design, scalability, and permission-aware access control in multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
  • Skilled in using AI Powered IDE to deliver production-ready code.
  • Fast learner with the ability to prototype, test, and iterate on solutions in collaboration with Architects and Engineers.
  • Experience building solution using Schematic design flow diagram like PUML,  , Lucidchart, Visio, MURAL etc is a plus
