Senior Power BI & Full-Stack Developer (.NET/Azure)
Experience Level: Mid to Senior

Role Overview
We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer with deep expertise in .NET Core/.NET, Power BI (Embedded), and Microsoft Azure to build end-to-end data and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge backend development, data engineering, and business intelligence, ensuring seamless integration between applications and analytics.

Key Responsibilities
NET Development & Integration:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET Core/.NET 6+ APIs and microservices.
  • Implement clean architecture (Domain-Driven Design, Onion/Hexagonal) in .NET solutions.
  • Build RESTful/gRPC APIs for Power BI Embedded authentication and data retrieval.
  • Work with Entity Framework Core (or Dapper) for database interactions.
  • Integrate Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID), OAuth 2.0, and JWT for secure Power BI embedding.
  • Develop background services (IHostedService, Hangfire) for data processing.

Power BI & Embedded Analytics

  • Develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and paginated reports with optimized DAX.
  • Implement Power BI Embedded in .NET web apps (MVC,, React frontends).
  • Configure service principals, automation pipelines, and capacity management (Power BI).
  • Apply row-level security (RLS) and manage workspace governance.

Azure Cloud & DevOps

  • Deploy and manage Azure App Services, Functions, and Containerized (Docker/K8s) .NET apps.
  • Architect data solutions (Azure SQL).
  • Automate deployments using Azure DevOps CI/CD (YAML pipelines) or GitHub Actions.
  • Monitor performance with Azure Application Insights and logging (Serilog).

Collaboration & Optimization

  • Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into full-stack .NET + BI solutions.
  • Optimize query performance (SQL, EF Core), caching (Redis), and API response times.
  • Mentor junior developers on .NET best practices and Power BI integration patterns.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Core .NET Expertise:

.NET Core/.NET 6+ – API development, dependency injection, middleware.

ASP.NET Core – MVC, Web API, Minimal APIs, SignalR (real-time dashboards).

ORM & Databases – Entity Framework Core, Dapper, SQL Server/Azure SQL.

Authentication/Authorization – Azure AD, OAuth 2.0, JWT, Policy-based auth.

Cloud-Native Patterns – Microservices, serverless (Azure Functions), Docker.

Power BI & Azure
Power BI Embedded – SDK integration, capacity scaling, automation.

Azure Data Services – Synapse, Data Factory, Blob Storage.

DevOps – CI/CD (Azure DevOps), ARM/Bicep templates, monitoring.

Bonus Skills

  • Frontend Frameworks – Blazor, React (for embedded BI portals).
  • Messaging – Azure Service Bus, Event Grid.
  • Unit/Integration Testing – xUnit, Moq, TestContainers.
