You would also be responsible for troubleshooting problems that may arise with a piece and coming up with creative solutions to make sure things happen the way they're supposed to. Mid-Level Graphic Designer: Core contributor to projects, owns bigger pieces and is proficient at adhering to brand standards. They work with all the information at their disposal and use their skill set and knowledge to solve problems.

Mid-Level Production Artist: You assist teams in the production of graphic material, packaging, display, and advertising projects, and more. You collaborate with Art Directors, Designers, and other Graphic Designers to format artwork, ensure print quality standards are met, and often collect, process, and organize files.

Responsibilities:

• Mid-Level Graphic Designer: Core contributor to projects, owns bigger pieces, and is proficient at adhering to brand standards.
• Report to the Discipline Lead for project assignments; collaborate with creative teams for implementation and direction.
• Layout files, make prescribed edits, and prepare print files per vendor specifications.
• Must also be capable of developing scientific figure redraws (converting raw data into vector charts and graphs) for medical communication materials using adobe illustrator.
• Work closely with account, creative, and creative services departments as part of an integrated team.
• Adhere to agency vision and uphold client style guidelines.
• Traditional studio support including mock-ups and presentation materials.
• Deliver quality work on time and within budget.
• Create production-ready files for print and digital, including edits to existing layouts.
• Prepare mechanical print files according to vendor specs and brand style guides.
• Coordinate with project managers on schedule and hours.
• Maintain server structure and guide others on file organization.
• Support onboarding for studio process and file structure.
• Manage brand assets, logos, and workflow within the brand.
• Champion BoldSky workflow and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field, with agency/studio experience.
• 5–10 years' experience in Graphic Design.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).
• Extensive prepress knowledge including formats, resolution, and four-color printing.
• Excellent communication and direction-giving skills.
• Strong design sense: layout, composition, hierarchy, typography, and color.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Team player with ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under deadlines.
• Experience with Sketch and/or Figma a plus.
• Experience with PowerPoint, animation, digital/video a plus.
• Experience working in DAM systems a plus.

Should also be:

• Able to Understand and Implement Direction: Can translate creative objectives into effective execution and communicate workload needs clearly.
• Industry Application: Quick learner with strong functional and technical knowledge of both the client's and agency's businesses.
• Demonstrating Ownership and Proactivity: Shows initiative and consistently offers new ideas, owning the brand from a visual standpoint.
• Willingness to be Flexible: Open to stepping outside the formal job description to support the team and deliver high-quality work.
