Responsibilities:
Design, build, and evolve a test automation framework from the ground up.
Develop and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with QA and development teams to define automation strategy and priorities.
Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Manage Dockerized test environments and handle test data preparation.
Provide regular reports on automation progress and propose technical improvements.
Requirements:
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript using Playwright or Appium.
Solid understanding of Page Object Model and automation design patterns.
Clear grasp of SDLC/STLC, automation ROI, and test coverage metrics.
Hands-on experience with GitLab Pipelines, Docker, and databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB).
Confident with Git workflows.
Experience writing BDD tests (Gherkin).
Nice to have
- Basic knowledge of Python.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Ownership mindset and ability to work autonomously in a hybrid setup.
Strong analytical and problem-solving approach with attention to detail.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in finance/banking projects
English level: B2 or higher
Spanish level: Native
