Middle DevOps Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Middle DevOps Engineer to join our team in Argentina.

About the role:

As a Middle DevOps Engineer, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experience of tomorrow. OPS Engineer Role Overview The OPS Engineer ensures the stability, deployment, and optimization of production environments. This role bridges the gap between Identity Engineering (Active Directory) and Cloud-Native practices (SRE), managing the lifecycle of both legacy and microservices-based software.

The Client will be contracting a System Admin / OPS Engineer contractor for six months to assist with the ability to extend based on business needs. The objective is to design, implement, and optimize a secure, scalable, and highly available identity and access management infrastructure. This infrastructure will serve as the foundation for centralized authentication, authorization, and resource access control across the organization's IT environment.

The company provides cloud-based solutions that enable organizations to prepare, sign, manage, and store agreements digitally. Its platform helps streamline contract workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure secure, legally compliant transactions. The solutions are widely used across industries to replace manual, paper-based processes.

Responsibilities:

• The OPS Engineer will assist with monitoring and maintaining Client's software production environment
• Monitoring production software environment
• Creating patches and bug fixes
• Deploying software in production environments
• Improving existing software for production deployment and provisioning
• Production Monitoring: 24/7 oversight of software health, performance, and uptime
• Deployment & Maintenance: Creating patches, executing bug fixes, and deploying software updates
• SRE Collaboration: Supporting the SRE team in automating microservices onboarding and load testing
• Optimization: Improving existing provisioning scripts and deployment workflows for higher reliability
• Compliance: Ensuring all production changes meet security standards and regulatory requirements (GDPR/SOX)
• Documentation: Maintaining operational runbooks and providing stakeholder updates

Requirements:

• Hybrid Systems: Maintenance of Windows Server (2016–2022) and Linux-based production environments
• Identity & Networking: Functional knowledge of AD (GPO, DNS, DHCP), Azure AD/Entra ID, and hybrid identity workflows
• Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell for Windows/AD tasks and Python/Bash for general operational automation
• Modern Deployment: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and software provisioning
• Observability: Management of monitoring/logging stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Azure Monitor)
• Resiliency: Experience with backup solutions (Veeam), patching, and firewall/endpoint security
