Senior Backend Engineer

What You'll Do
- Architect and implement scalable backend systems capable of handling high-volume traffic
- Build and optimize workflow engines, queue systems, and distributed processes
- Work heavily with

AWS - Collaborate closely with a U.S.-based team with strong time-zone overlap
- Improve reliability, performance, and developer experience across the platform
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years working with backend engineering strongly preferred)
- Deep experience with
Redis
, distributed caching, queues, and high-throughput systems - SQL mastery, especially with
PostgreSQL - Solid AWS experience (Lambda, SQS, ECS, or similar)
- Strong system design fundamentals
- Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly and collaborate in a fast-paced environment
