Your Purpose

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at MSC Cruises. This professional will be responsible for both strategic and operational activities in financial control, with a particular focus on international reporting, budget management, cash flow oversight, and accounts payable and receivable operations.

Your Impact

  • Prepare and consolidate financial reports for the international headquarters, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.

  • Support budget planning and control processes, including quarterly reviews—monitoring variances, analyzing discrepancies, and recommending corrective actions.

  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow, developing realistic forecasts and implementing optimization strategies.

  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring compliance with deadlines, internal controls, and company policies.

  • Assist with monthly accounting and tax closings in coordination with the Accounting department.

  • Contribute to internal and external audits, providing required financial information and supporting documentation.

  • Drive process improvements and enhancements to financial tools and reporting systems.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and local and international regulatory requirements.

  • Support tax reconciliation and preparation of national tax filings in collaboration with the Tax team.

Your Journey so far

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;

  • Proven experience as a Senior Financial Analyst or in a similar position;

  • Experience in international financial reporting (knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, or similar standards will be considered an asset);

  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management;

  • Hands-on experience with accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and financial routines;

  • Proficiency with SAP (previous experience is essential);

  • Advanced Excel skills;

  • Advanced or fluent English, required for preparing and communicating international reports;
