. This role ensures HR operations are executed accurately, consistently, and in compliance with applicable
local labor laws and regulations within LATAM
, while supporting recruiting coordination and delivering a positive employee and candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations (Primary Focus)
- Coordinate and administer employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding for employees across LATAM.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR data, ensuring consistency and compliance with local labor and government requirements.
- Support employment compliance activities, internal audits, and record retention in accordance with country-specific regulations.
- Assist with benefits administration, including new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and open enrollment support, aligned with local benefits practices.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, time off, and employment practices, escalating country-specific issues as appropriate.
- Support payroll processes by coordinating employee status changes, timekeeping, and local payroll considerations.
- Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook materials to ensure alignment across LATAM countries.
- Track and report HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, onboarding status, and compliance deadlines for the LATAM region.
- Coordinate employee communications related to HR programs, policies, and operational updates across LATAM.
Recruiting & Talent Coordination
- Coordinate recruiting activities across LATAM, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
- Ensure job postings and hiring practices align with local labor laws and employment regulations.
- Assist with background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment screenings in accordance with country-specific requirements.
- Maintain accurate ATS records and recruiting documentation.
General HR Support
- Support HR projects and initiatives related to regional growth and operational scalability in LATAM.
- Assist with audits, investigations, and compliance reviews as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the HR team as needed
Required Qualifications
Academic Background & Certifications:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, or HR Coordination.
- Experience supporting HR processes.
- Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
English Level
- Fluent (written and spoken) is required
Technical Assessment Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Comfortable working with HR systems and digital tools.
Skills And Competencies
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting benefits administration and payroll.
- Familiarity with local leave laws and wage and hour considerations
