IT Intership

ROLE PURPOSE

The IT Services Intern will undergo training and gain practical experience across multiple areas within the IT Services department. This includes learning about IT service management, technical support, service delivery, and system administration. The intern will assist the team in various tasks while being exposed to different functions of the department, ensuring a broad understanding of how IT services are provided and managed at GB Advisors.

Key Responsabilities And Expect Outcomes
Training and Skill Development:

• Participate in cross-functional training sessions to gain exposure to the various areas of IT services within the organization, including IT service management, technical support, and service delivery.
• Assist in hands-on tasks under the guidance of senior team members to apply learned concepts and technologies.
• Engage in shadowing opportunities to observe and learn from experienced professionals across different IT service functions.

Technical Support And Service Delivery Assistance

• Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving IT service issues, under the supervision of senior IT Services staff.
• Assist in the maintenance and of internal systems and platforms used for service management (e.g., Vtiger, ITSM tools).
• Help execute basic tasks related to software installation, configuration, and system maintenance as part of service delivery projects.

Documentation And Process Management

• Learn how to manage and maintain documentation related to support processes, procedures, SLAs, and service delivery workflows.
• Support the team in documenting new procedures, improving existing workflows, and organizing internal knowledge bases.

Collaboration And Cross-functional Exposure

• Work alongside team members in the IT Services department and across other teams to understand how IT services are integrated with other functions.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and team discussions to gain insights into departmental strategies and service improvements.

Compliance And Best Practices

• Learn about and assist in ensuring compliance with internal policies, IT security standards, and industry best practices.
• Support the team in audits, reviews, and compliance checks related to IT service delivery.

Compliance And Continuous Improvement

• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving processes, based on observations and hands-on experiences.
• Regularly supervisors on progress and learning, identifying areas for further skill development.

JOB PROFILE

EDUCATION LEVEL & EXPERIENCE Education level: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: No prior experience required, although previous internships or academic projects related to IT services or technical support are a plus.

English level: Intermediate (B2).
