We're looking for an experienced Freelance Motion Designer to join our talented team working for the US market.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of creating visually captivating motion design content that leaves a lasting impression. You'll showcase your expertise to ensure the highest quality in all our deliverables.

Your role will involve crafting video content tailored specifically for paid media campaigns on various digital platforms and adapt master copies to resonate with diverse target audiences.

While prior experience with our automation system, Celtra, is desirable, we also welcome candidates who possess a willingness to learn and develop their skills within the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the wider team to develop visually captivating motion design content for international brands for United states audiences.
  • Edit and splice TV campaigns, ensuring seamless transitions and maintaining brand consistency.
  • Work on video content for paid media campaigns, adapting to platform-specific digital formats.
  • Implement modular creative strategies, adapting to different target audiences.
  • Familiarise yourself with the Celtra platform and utilize it for building and developing content, if applicable.
  • Meet project deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in motion design and video editing to continuously improve skills and deliver cutting-edge work.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of project objectives and deliverables.

Qualifications and Experience

    • 2/3 years working as a motion designer
  • +1 years working for international brands
  • A track record of working as a motion designer and editor in a creative agency or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects and Premiere, with a deep understanding of motion design principles, animation techniques, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to edit and splice video content, ensuring seamless transitions, pacing, and overall cohesiveness.
  • Previous experience working on high-profile brands, preferably within the consumer goods.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas, provide feedback, and collaborate with team members and clients.
  • Bilingual English is mandatory, as you will be working with our teams from South Africa and United states.

This role is Fulltime - Freelance.
