We're seeking an experienced
Operations Manager
to build and manage the operational infrastructure that allows a creative team to thrive. This role requires balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution across operations, account/project management, systems, HR, and business finances. You'll help scope SOWs, issue invoices, optimize workflows, and ensure projects run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations & Systems: Develop and maintain operational processes, SOPs, and systems; streamline workflows and team communications; manage timelines and cross-functional coordination.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee accounts payable/receivable, client invoicing, vendor payments, budgets, and financial planning; support drafting and reviewing SOWs.
  • Human Resources & People Operations: Lead hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee development; manage payroll, benefits, policies, and company culture.
  • Strategy & Performance: Contribute to business strategy, optimize KPIs and reporting, evaluate performance, and balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Qualifications

  • Experience in operations management, preferably in an agency or creative environment
  • Experience drafting and negotiating contracts and SOWs
  • Strong understanding of workflows, business models, and operational challenges in creative teams
  • Familiarity with operational tools (e.g., Asana, time tracking software)
  • Financial acumen, including budget management and billing processes
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement systems, processes, and SOPs
  • Comfortable working in a small, fast-paced team environment
  • Strategic thinker who can also execute tactical, hands-on work

  • Experience with HR/People Operations (hiring, onboarding, benefits, performance management)
