1Performs a wide variety of financial analyses to provide company management with interpretive and predictive financial information that is used to make business performance assessments and capital investment/divestment decisions. Develops cross-functional partnerships to identify strategic and commercial opportunities and to resolve performance issuesSupports medium sized clients/customers and makes significant contributions to more complex projects under periodic supervision. General knowledge of the work function and Chevron's practices.
Financial Statements:
- Compile and analyze data for balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Review and adjust reports.
Tax Accounting:
- Calculate and record tax liabilities.
- Prepare and file tax returns.
- Stay updated on tax laws.
Provisions:
- Record provisions for liabilities.
- Reflect provisions in statements.
- Review and adjust regularly.
Financial Analysis:
- Perform analyses for management.
- Inform business decisions.
- Develop cross-functional partnerships.
Client Support:
- Support larger clients and lead projects.
- Develop detailed work function knowledge.
Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
