The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills in English, and a proven track record of delivering robust Android solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, UX/UI, Backend, QA) to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance and stability.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and help guide the technical direction of the mobile team.
  • Mentor mid-level and junior developers when needed.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Android development.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
  • Solid understanding of Android SDK, architecture components, and modern development patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, Jetpack).
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and offline storage solutions.
  • Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal (mandatory).
  • Experience working in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose.
  • Knowledge of Firebase services.
  • Experience with unit and UI testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso).
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Contribution to open-source projects or published apps in the Google Play Store.
