Technical Program Manager

Ciklum is looking for a Technical Program Manager to join our team in Argentina.

About the role:

As a Technical Program Manager, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experience of tomorrow. The Client will be contracting a Team of DevOPS, SREs, System Admin / OPS Engineers  to assist with their cloud transformation program. The objective for this role is to drive Cloud transformation, Cloud cost management, Elastic solutions programs ensuring proper design, budget, implementation, compliance (including regulatory requirements) and scalability of the platform. Providing seamless coordination and ensuring infrastructure will serve as the foundation for future growth and innovation for the organization.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Execution: Drive the successful delivery of complex cloud infrastructure programs, ensuring full alignment between technical implementation and strategic business goals
• Large-Scale Leadership: Manage high-impact programs involving 50+ engineers and architects, acting as the primary point of contact for execution, communication, and issue resolution
• Infrastructure Initiatives: Lead critical projects including cloud platform migrations and cloud enablementment programs
• Program Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery of all milestones
• Azure Cost Management and Cost governance:
  • Commitments and Pricing management
  • Manage cloud scaling solutions
  • Rightsize cloud estate
  • Cost management of cloud
  • Track and help maintain costs
• Elastic Search Cost Management:
  • Management of cost
  • Rightsizing of Elastic infrastructure
• Azure Kubernetes Service:
  • Rightsizing scaling
  • Cost management
  • Managing workload sizing
• Automation: Responsibility for building automation for cost management and cost governance processes
• Governance & Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation and ensure all infrastructure changes remain compliant with organizational standards and policies

Requirements:

• Technical:
  • Cost management and cost governance practice in Azure Cloud
  • Experience with rightsizing Elastic infrastructure
  • Architecture patterns and autoscaling solutions in cloud environments
  • Azure Cloud experience
  • Proven technical experience and knowledge about modern cloud architecture patterns 
  • Experience in building automation for cost reporting and cost governance
• Technical Program Management: Proven experience leading large-scale technical programs (50+ participants) specifically within Cloud Transformation or Cloud Enablement programs
• Cloud Infrastructure Expertise: Understanding of cloud platforms, DevOPS practice and infrastructure architectures to effectively guide engineering teams
• Risk Management: Advanced ability to identify technical and operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve complex roadblocks under tight deadlines
• Executive Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill technical progress into executive-level reporting
• Compliance Knowledge: Ability to ensure all infrastructure programs adhere to strict technical standards, security policies, and internal documentation requirements
• Non cloud (on premise datacenter) architecture familiarity is a plus
