We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Jr. Data Manager to support the execution of data governance, system integration, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. This role will assist in managing data processes, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with internal teams and external clients to meet strategic data needs. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a foundational understanding of pharmaceutical data operations. This position supports the goals of the Data Strategy Department and works closely with data analysts, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and compliant data solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of data management systems using tools such as SQL, Python, and cloud platforms.
• Support the development and enforcement of data governance policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and support custom imports, extracts, and ingestion processes.
• Partner with data engineering and analysts to troubleshoot issues and maintain production workflows.
• Document data requirements, onboard new data assets, and support integration efforts.
• Support data quality efforts including validation activities, leveraging Veeva Open Data for data enrichment, and assisting with external sales data reconciliation.
• Participate in UAT testing, project prioritization, and delivery of custom extracts.
• Support specialized functions including CRM data operations (e.g., Veeva Network), and compliance-related reporting such as Sunshine Act submissions.
• Stay informed on industry trends and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in data management, analytics, or operations roles (pharmaceutical industry experience preferred).
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python and cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience supporting CRM data workflows (e.g., Veeva Network), incentive compensation tools (e.g., Varicent), and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical data sources and regulatory requirements. (preferred)
• Knowledge of ETL processes and secure data transfer protocols. (preferred)
• Experience with UAT testing and documentation of technical requirements. (preferred)
