THE ROLE

The
Producer

at HTN functions as a hybrid
Producer / Showrunner

, responsible for overseeing the full creative and technical preparation of live broadcasts and streams. This is a trusted leadership position central to HTN's growth.

You will
own the vision

for assigned games, events, and properties, guiding the technical team, talent, and creative staff to deliver compelling broadcasts. You should be comfortable working autonomously and confidently leading when the Executive Producer is not available.

Works closely with:

Technical Directors, Camera Ops, Commentary, Team Managers

Compensation:

$1,450-$1,650 USD per month

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Production Leadership & Vision

• Lead the planning and execution of live broadcasts across multiple sports (With a major workload being on Baseball, and American Football) and event types.
• Develop the creative vision for each event and ensure it is executed across all production layers.
• Maintain HTN quality standards and push innovation in storytelling, graphics, and viewer experience.

Run of Show + Script Creation

• Build detailed
  Run of Show

documents for each production.
- Convert ROS into
full production scripts

, including timing, transitions, graphics cues, commentator notes, and storyline integration.

Talent & Team Coordination

• Meet regularly with:
• Commentators
• Coaching staffs / teams
• Technical Directors
• Camera operators
• Graphics operators
• Graphic Designers
• Other key event personnel
• Source, recruit, and manage commentator talent as needed.
• Provide leadership, training, and guidance to camera crews, TDs, and graphics teams.

Technical Execution

• Ensure all graphics, overlays, scorebugs, sponsor elements, and replay workflows are correct and ready.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper equipment setup, camera plans, and broadcast workflows.
• Anticipate and troubleshoot issues before and during broadcasts (as needed).

Storytelling & Creative Development

• Research and develop storylines, key matchups, feature ideas, and creative elements that enhance broadcasts.
• Use collaboration and creativity to continually evolve HTN's on-air style and reputation as an industry leader.

Project & Event Management

• Manage multiple projects, sports properties, and broadcasts simultaneously.
• Deliver consistent communication and updates to the Executive Producer and CCO.
• Work under pressure and tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism and calm, clear leadership.

WHAT YOU BRING
Required

• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Proven experience in live sports broadcasting, production, or related fields
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly during live events
• Professional demeanor and ability to collaborate with diverse teams
• Passion for sports and storytelling
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience producing live sports broadcasts
• Knowledge of graphics systems, overlays, and multi-camera production
• Commentary or on-air experience (not required but beneficial for working with talent)
• Familiarity with remote production workflows
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Experience with AI-assisted production tools, cloud-based editing, or modern streaming platforms
