Overview Fresh Depot aims to help reduce fresh produce wastage and ultimately optimize food supply in the Philippines. Fresh Depot bridges the digital and physical space and captures the entire value chain from before crops are planted up to when they’re sold to the market. The Field Staff will support the Lead Agronomist in achieving the brand’s mission of introducing farmers to Fresh Depot's physical and digital agricultural solutions. The Field Staff will get hands-on experience interacting with the farming community and gathering in-depth information and data that will aid in registering farmers for the platform Job Description Onboard farmers to the digital platform and explain their rights and responsibilities as users. Promote and educate farmers and traders about the project’s purpose and mission. Collect and encode required information from farmers. Conduct site visits for validation and geotagging. Engage with farmers to accomplish all requirements and requests onsite. Support Lead Agronomist in the smooth implementation of daily activities in the operations of the pilot units Ensure the functionality of endorsed Fresh Depot Assets Qualifications Preferably with work experience in the Agriculture space Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or any related field preferred Good comprehension and communication skills (can simplify concepts, knows how to speak the dialect in Benguet) Proficient in Google and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Powerpoint Presentations, data encoding, etc.) Proficient with mobile applications and gadgets (e.g. Geographic /GPS Apps, technical softwares) Highly organized and keen to detail Good to have: knows how to drive a motor vehicle
