We are hiring a Senior UI Engineer I to join the Auth0 Product Unit Growth team to work on frontend experiments. The Growth team works to optimize key business and engagement metrics via web experiments and a/b tests. We are a group of Engineers, Analysts, Designers, and Marketing Managers who are a creative, curious bunch that like to tweak and challenge the status quo. Teams we work closely with include Mktg Engineering, Product, and many other teams within the Auth0 Product Unit.

This role is based out of Argentina, but is fully dynamic, meaning you can work from a home office or in the Buenos Aires office or a combination of these options.

**What you will do**:

- Participate on cross-team initiatives from end to end: code reviews, design reviews, operational robustness, etc.
- Design and develop technical solutions that address constraints and improve our growth engineering processes.
- Turn test plans and designs into experiments, a/b tests, and growth features/loops.
- Contribute to documentation (instructional, pitch and technical specification).
- Maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies, and keep team members informed as appropriate, with a view to incorporate these in future projects, staying ahead of the market, and position yourself and the company as a digital specialist.
- Work with Designers on mockups, and make tweaks to Figma files based on your UX intuition and experience.

**You might be a good fit if you**:

- Fluent in English
- Enjoy working on a small, collaborative and cross functional team
- Have 5+ years or more HTML experience: valid, semantics, properties, APIs and more
- Have 5+ years or more CSS experience: advanced css3, flexbox, grid, animations and more
- Demonstrated JS knowledge: asynchronous programming, callbacks, promises
- Demonstrated React knowledge: JSX, methods, state, hooks
- Good understanding of npm and Node.js: working with a package.json, npm script, locks and more
- Experience working with Design tools such as Figma, etc etc.
- Git experience
- High level of intellectual curiosity.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a user-centric attitude.

**Extras**:

- Knowledge on modern styling solutions: styled-jsx, styled-components, emotion or others
- An interest or passion for design and the user's experience.
- Next.js experience
- Good understanding of web accessibility
- Experience integrating server-side code: Node.js, async calls, CORS, error handling and more
