**About the role**

You will be leading a talented software team that works on our property tracking solution technology Firetrack. You will be people-focused, with a supportive, attentive perspective. You have coding skills, a passion for driving innovation, and creativity for solving problems. As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead a team of talented engineers who like to ship code and tackle hard engineering problems.
- Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of your team members. Help develop their careers, their skill levels, personalities, work styles, and professional goals
- Lead recruiting efforts for the team.
- Design, develop & support the development of the Firetrack solution and its Web services / APIs.
- Ensures that the team delivers high-quality solutions by following the best practices, e.g. testing, observability, etc.
- Build teams that are collaborative, inclusive, and respectful of each other.
- Work with our engineers and the company and the CTO to maintain a prioritized backlog and achieve short-term and long-term goals.
- Proactivity and ability to move fast or pivot to meet the changing needs of the product.
- Curiosity for emerging technologies and ability to create space for growth and evolution of products and teams.**Requirements**:

- 4-6 years of experience as a software engineer with leadership responsibilities and experience mentoring junior and senior engineers.
- + 4 years working in a Node.JS, NPM environment.
- In-depth experience in Javascript, React, Vue.js, and other front-end technologies.
- Prior experience in architecting, building, launching, and maintaining complex systems.
- Solid knowledge of MongoDB and Redis.
- Prior experience with Git, Jira, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong experience with Node.js testing frameworks as Mocha, Chai or Jest.
- Experience providing reviews on teammates' code and designs, providing constructive feedback to meet a high bar of quality and help others grow.
- Well-developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
- Humility and self-awareness to understand opportunities to learn and grow.
